Some societal issues are currently devastating the very fabrics of the foundation of our homes. One of such is Domestic Violence which is on the rise. Women are mostly the victim of this inhumanity. This movie is themed on some of societal problem domestic violence and Immigration issues. Full of twisted plots and life vicissitudes. The movie which was shot in Switzerland and Lagos Nigeria;  is set address to be premieres in Nigeria.

Amara is a emotional drama which tells the story of a 42-years old Nigerian Man living in Switzerland, after a failed Marriage to a European woman, decides to return to his native country Nigeria in search of a wife. He got tangled in a triangle of three scenario of; two Nigerian Bankers, one who wanted him at all cost and the other was not indifferent. His mother who believed she could help him find the right woman and the European woman want him back

Nollywood actress, Modupe Oyekunle, dies during childbirth

Nollywood actress, Modupe Oyekunle, has died. The actress died in the early hours of Tuesday, April 4th, while giving birth to her third child in Abeokuta. The actress gave birth to a baby girl and the child survived.

She was a fast rising actress and starred in quite a number of Yoruba movies. She was also a member of Igi Aloye caucus in Abeokuta that produced Odunlade Adekola. Playground disclosed the news of her death on their Instagram account. She is survived by her husband, three children and parents.
